Who we are

SimpleBlend [legal entity name] (“SimpleBlend”, “we”) operates simpleblend.com and the SimpleBlend service. Questions about this policy go to hello@simpleblend.com.

Two kinds of information

This policy covers two things separately: information about visitors to this website, and information our customers ask us to process inside the service.

Website visitors

• What we collect. Pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and anything you type into the demo request form (name, work email, company, role, and the details you choose to share).
• Why. To respond to your request, to understand how the site is used, and to keep it working.
• Cookies and analytics. We use [first-party analytics / a privacy-respecting analytics tool]. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
• Who sees it. Our team and the providers that host the site and deliver email. We do not sell visitor information and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.

Customer data inside the service

• Our role. When a customer connects their systems, the information in those systems is the customer’s. We process it under the customer’s instructions and agreement to produce their reporting.
• What it can include. Marketing and advertising records, call and message records including recordings and transcripts where the customer enables them, job and customer records from field-service software, and the names and contact details of the customer’s own customers.
• Limits. We never share one customer’s data with another. We do not use customer data to build products for third parties, and we do not sell it.
• Portability and deletion. Customers can export their data at any time and can ask us to delete it when they leave. [Retention period after termination.]
• End-customer requests. If you are a customer of one of our customers and want to exercise a privacy right, contact that business directly. We will help them respond.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The service is hosted on Google Cloud. Access is limited by role and logged. A detailed security summary is available on request.

California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, and opt out of any sale (we do not sell personal information). Email hello@simpleblend.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for customers, tell you directly.
